I recently stayed at the Four Points By Sheraton in Haidian for the beginnings and the end of my three-week trip to China. While the staff was friendly and eager to assist, the hotel itself showed signs of age, particularly in the room furnishings and dining options. The breakfast buffet was underwhelming, with some dishes being stale, making me wish I had explored nearby dining options instead.

However, the air conditioning in my room was set at a fixed 25 °C, making it uncomfortable for sleeping.
